FORT MITCHELL, Ky. (Nov. 14, 2024) – Hit Seekers Sports Cards, the region’s premier modern sports card shop, is spreading the love of the card collecting hobby this holiday season. Hit Seekers has opened a new kiosk at Kenwood Towne Centre (KTC) and launched a program to benefit the patients at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
The new kiosk inside of Kenwood Towne Centre is Hit Seekers second seasonal location, in addition to their flagship store located at 2501 Dixie Highway, Suite 2, Fort Mitchell, Ky. 41017. The company will mark the event with a grand opening celebration on Saturday, Nov. 16, complete with special surprises enticing to collectors of all ages. The new kiosk is located inside KTC’s main entrance (across from The Cheesecake Factory) for the holiday season. It will carry sports and Pokémon boxes, and singles just like its original Fort Mitchell store.
“Trading cards brings joy to millions of people worldwide, a fact reflective in the growth we have enjoyed this year with Hit Seekers new seasonal kiosks at Great American Ball Park and now at Kenwood Towne Centre,” said Hit Seekers co-owner, Jake Rouse.
In addition to the KTC kiosk, Hit Seekers is inviting the public to join them in stepping up to the plate to bring smiles to children through its new “Cards for Kids” initiative. Cards for Kids will see the company donate trading cards purchased by its faithful customers to the Snowflake Shoppe. The Snowflake Shoppe allows parents with children who are patients at Cincinnati Children’s to select gifts – all of which have been donated by the community – free of charge to give to them.
“We hope our Cards for Kids program brings the love of card collecting to some of the most deserving kids in town while thanking our great customers for their tremendous generosity and support,” said Hit Seekers co-owner, Greg Rouse. “This wonderful program helps to elevate one small worry from the long list for caregivers by giving them access to gifts at no charge for their children.”
Here's how the campaign works: Guests visiting Hit Seekers original Fort Mitchell location or its new kiosk at Kenwood Towne Centre can purchase sealed trading cards at varying price points. Hit Seekers will drop off all donated cards to the Snowflake Shoppe where parents can then come in and select them for their children. As a thank you for supporting the brave patients at Cincinnati Children’s, each donation will automatically enter Hit Seekers shoppers into a massive giveaway raffle, giving them a chance to score one of 50 items in a prize pool valued at $4,000+.
A few of the prizes include:
- A grand prize of a 2023 Panini National Treasures Football Hobby Box
- Victor Wembanyama Autographed Authentic San Antonio Spurs Nike Jersey
- Hunter Greene Autographed Authentic Cincinnati Reds Nike Jersey
- Elly De La Cruz Autographed Replica Jersey
- $20 Hit Seekers gift cards (30 winners)
Guests can purchase sealed trading cards to donate now through Friday, December 13; Hit Seekers will draw prizes live on Sunday, December 15 with a special Instagram Live stream.
